Shane Battier began playing basketball at the age of four, and this young athlete soon became one of the nation’s rising stars. In his senior season at Duke University in Durham, NC, Battier received the Naismith and Wooden awards, was named National Player of the Year and the NCAA Final Four's Most Outstanding Player. None of these awards could have been achieved without hard work and dedication to the sport he loves.

Shane is a leader on and off the court, taking great pride in his commitment to supporting numerous national and local community programs and serving as a board member for many non-profits.

After his playing days are over, Shane would like to be his own boss.  ServiceMaster Clean and Shane Battier will provide this same opportunity for the lucky applicants by awarding them their own ServiceMaster Clean commercial cleaning franchise.
